Walailak University Dental Center Achieves TDCA Accreditation, Elevating Treatment Standards and Patient Safety to Global Excellence.
On March 18, 2026, the Quality Clinic Committee conducted an on-site evaluation of the Walailak University Dental Center under the Thai Dental Clinic Accreditation (TDCA) framework to certify the quality of its dental management and services.
The evaluation focused on auditing patient care systems to ensure compliance with the guidelines set by the Dental Council and the Institute of Dentistry. The assessment covered four critical dimensions: Patient Safety, Accurate Information Provision, Infection Control, and Internal Management.
The TDCA standard is overseen by a committee appointed by the Department of Medical Services. Its primary goal is to build public confidence, ensuring that patients receive accurate, precise, and safe dental treatments.
Walailak University Dental Center successfully met all required criteria. Furthermore, the committee commended the center for its performance and provided constructive recommendations. These insights will be utilized to continuously improve and enhance the quality of services, ensuring a lasting commitment to excellence.
