International College of Dentistry Visits Health Sciences University of Hokkaido, Japan, to Discuss Academic Collaboration
August 24–26, 2026, an executive delegation from the International College of Dentistry, Walailak University (WUICD), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Poonsak Pisek, Dean, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boonyit Thaweeboond, College Advisor, Prof. Dr. Pattama Nartshapakti, Acting Associate Dean for Research, Postgraduate Studies, and International Relations, and Prof. Dr. Soisiri Thaweeboond, paid an official visit to the School of Dentistry, Health Sciences University of Hokkaido (HSUH) in Japan. The visit aimed to discuss strategic frameworks for academic collaboration, joint research initiatives, and faculty-student exchange programs.
During the visit, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Shuichi Ito, Dean of the School of Dentistry at HSUH, together with Prof. Takashi Saito, Professor and Chair of the Division of Clinical Cariology and Endodontology, Department of Oral Rehabilitation.
This official visit marks a key milestone in strengthening WUICD’s global partnership network. It reinforces the institution’s commitment to advancing research capabilities, fostering knowledge transfer, and empowering students to excel on an international stage sustainably.
