WUICD Students Secure Honorable Mention Award at International BRIDGE-AI Summit 2026 for "Yim Sook" Application
The International College of Dentistry, Walailak University, extends its warmest congratulations to second-year dental students, Ms. Jantarat Siriprasert and Ms. Natchariya Kongsuwan, on receiving the Honorable Mention Award for their innovative project, the “Yim Sook” application—an AI-powered tool designed to evaluate oral dental calculus levels.
The competition was held as part of the international academic conference BRIDGE-AI Summit 2026, organized under the theme “Building Regional Medical Innovation in Digital Growth and Education through AI” from July 20 to 21, 2026, at Chulalongkorn University.
The “Yim Sook” application showcases the students’ ability to leverage artificial intelligence technology to enhance remote oral healthcare assessment.
