Students from WUICD Join Volunteer Dental Service 'In the Footsteps of the Royal Father' at Rajvithi Home for Girls
On Sunday, July 19, 2026, students from the International College of Dentistry, Walailak University, participated in the “In the Footsteps of the Father” Volunteer Mobile Dental Clinic in collaboration with the Confederation of Saint Gabriel Alumni Associations of Thailand (CGA). The outreach project was held at the Rajvithi Home for Girls in Ratchathewi District, Bangkok.
This initiative was organized to pay tribute and dedicate merit to His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty’s 74th Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2026, as well as to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the Saint Gabriel’s Foundation Thailand (1901–2026). During the event, dental check-ups, treatments, and oral healthcare services were provided to over 350 children and staff members.
Participating in this community service offered dental students invaluable hands-on field experience beyond the classroom. It also served to reinforce a sense of social responsibility, dedication, and public service, aligning with the core values and mission of the International College of Dentistry, Walailak University.
